What makes the difference
An Education Practice
Built to Stay That Way
No commissions. No upsells. No products. Just structured learning for adults who want to read their financial situation more carefully.

Over Ten Years of Focused Practice
The facilitator has run these specific programmes since 2014. The content has been shaped by real participant questions, updated annually, and refined through repeated delivery — not adapted from a template.
Nothing Is For Sale
Plai Advisors holds no financial adviser's licence and earns nothing from financial products. The session fee is the only commercial transaction. Participants can attend without concern that the facilitator is steering them toward a purchase.
Small Groups, Genuine Pace
A maximum of twelve participants per cohort has been the practice's rule since its founding year. This allows for questions, for digression, for the kind of discussion that does not happen in a lecture hall with forty people.
Thai Data, Thai Law, Thai Context
All three programmes draw on data and legal frameworks specific to Thailand. Bank of Thailand figures, SET historical data, Thai succession law. Not material adapted from UK, US, or Australian curricula.
Printed Materials That Last
Every programme includes printed reference materials produced by the practice. Participants keep them. Reference cards, companion volumes, and reference packets are reviewed and reprinted each year when content is updated.
Designed for Adult Learners
The programmes are designed around the way adults actually absorb information — not through dense lectures, but through structured reading, discussion, and personal reflection. Participants are not students; they are experienced people adding to an existing picture.
Each Benefit, Examined Closely
Expertise and Professional Background
The lead facilitator, Wiroj Phanthat, spent fifteen years working in financial analysis at a regional bank before leaving to study adult education. That combination — financial knowledge alongside an understanding of how adults learn — is not common. Most financial educators come from one side or the other. The programmes at Plai Advisors reflect both.
A Structured, Revisable Process
Each programme follows a consistent structure — presentation of material, facilitated discussion, printed reference, personal reflection. The structure is the same across cohorts, but the content is updated annually. Participants who attended the inflation programme in 2022 and wished to attend again in 2025 would encounter the same structure but refreshed data and examples. The process itself is the product.
Attentive, Low-Pressure Communication
Enquiries receive a direct response from the practice, typically within one working day. We do not have a call centre or a sales team. Questions about suitability — whether a programme is right for a particular person's situation — are answered honestly, including if the honest answer is that a programme is not what they need right now.
Transparent, Single-Charge Pricing
The session fee covers everything: sessions, printed materials, and follow-up access to the facilitator for questions arising from the programme within thirty days of completion. There are no additional charges, no module upgrades, and no subscription. Prices are posted on the programme pages. Refund terms are clear and applied without negotiation.
Outcomes That Are Realistic to Describe
We do not claim that participants will make better investment decisions or save more money. What participants typically report after completing a programme is a clearer sense of what they are reading when they see economic figures, a calmer relationship with financial uncertainty, and a better sense of the questions they want to put to their solicitor or financial adviser. Those are achievable outcomes from education. We describe only those.

Distinctive Features of the Practice
The Companion Volume Model
The Patient Reading on Risk includes a printed companion volume — a structured reading guide that participants keep and annotate over the four months of the programme. This approach, uncommon in financial education, treats understanding as something that develops slowly and benefits from being held in the hand.
No Conflicts of Interest
Because Plai Advisors earns nothing from referrals, product commissions, or follow-on services, the facilitator is free to present the full picture — including the limitations of common financial products and the situations in which a licensed adviser's input is genuinely necessary.
Annual Content Update
Each programme is reviewed and its data updated before each new cohort. The Bank of Thailand's figures from last quarter, the most recent SET historical data, any changes in Thai property law — these enter the content before the next group of participants arrives.
30-Day Follow-Up Access
Questions often arise after a session, once a participant has had time to consider the material in relation to their own situation. Within thirty days of a programme's completion, participants may write to the facilitator with questions that emerged from the sessions. This is included in the programme fee.
