Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• "Plai Advisors", "we", "us", "our" — the financial education practice located at 52 Bang Lamphu, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand.
• "Programme" — any of the three structured financial education programmes offered by Plai Advisors.
• "Participant", "you", "your" — any individual who registers for, attends, or enquires about a Programme.
• "Materials" — printed reference cards, packets, companion volumes, and any other documents produced by Plai Advisors and distributed to participants.
• "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any programme-specific enrolment confirmation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, confirming an enrolment, or attending a Programme, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are enrolling on behalf of another person, you represent that you have authority to do so and that the participant also accepts these terms.

3. Programme Description

Plai Advisors offers structured financial education sessions for adults aged 40 and over in Bangkok, Thailand. Programmes are conducted in English. Current offerings are:

• Reading What Inflation Is — three sessions (฿5,450 per participant)
• The Conversation About Wills — one full day (฿8,700 per participant)
• The Patient Reading on Risk — four monthly meetings (฿11,400 per participant)

Programmes are subject to a minimum and maximum group size. If a minimum is not reached, Plai Advisors reserves the right to defer the programme to a subsequent cohort, with full refunds offered to enrolled participants.

4. Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places are not reserved until payment is received. Confirmation of enrolment, including session dates, venue details, and logistical information, will be sent to the email address provided at registration. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address provided is correct and monitored.

5. Payment

All fees are in Thai Baht (THB). Payment methods accepted will be specified at the point of enrolment. Full payment is required to confirm a place. Plai Advisors does not store card details. Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• More than 14 days before the programme start date: full refund.
• 7–14 days before the programme start date: 50% refund, or a credit toward a future programme cohort (at your election).
• Less than 7 days before the programme start date: no refund, but a credit toward a future cohort may be offered at Plai Advisors' discretion.
• Non-attendance without notice: no refund or credit.
• Programme deferred by Plai Advisors: full refund or transfer to the rescheduled cohort.

7. Participant Responsibilities

• Arrive at sessions on time. Repeated late arrivals that disrupt the group may result in removal from the programme without refund.
• Treat other participants and the facilitator with respect. Plai Advisors reserves the right to remove a participant whose conduct is disruptive.
• Do not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent.
• Do not distribute, reproduce, or commercially exploit Materials without written permission.

8. Intellectual Property

All Materials produced by Plai Advisors — including printed reference cards, packets, companion volumes, session presentations, and website content — remain the intellectual property of Plai Advisors. Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use Materials for their own reference. Any reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use requires prior written consent from Plai Advisors.

9. Disclaimers

Plai Advisors is a financial education practice. The programmes are educational in nature and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or professional advice of any kind. Nothing presented in any session or in any Materials should be relied upon as a basis for making personal financial or legal decisions. Participants are encouraged to consult a licensed financial adviser or solicitor for personal matters.

The content of sessions is prepared carefully and reviewed annually, but Plai Advisors does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information presented. Laws, regulations, and market data change; participants should verify information that is material to their personal situation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Plai Advisors' total liability to any participant arising from or in connection with a programme shall not exceed the fee paid by that participant for that programme. Plai Advisors is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind. This limitation does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Plai Advisors harmless against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misconduct during a programme, or your misuse of Materials.

12. Termination

Plai Advisors may terminate your participation in a programme immediately if you breach these Terms, act in a manner that is disruptive to other participants, or misrepresent yourself during enrolment. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued. Clauses 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by written communication to [email protected]. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Plai Advisors in relation to a programme.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without written consent from Plai Advisors.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Continued enrolment in or attendance at a programme after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the changes. For enrolled participants, we will send notice of material changes to the email address on file.
